ABSTRACT

   영구 임대 아파트가 최초로 도입된 번동의 주민들은 경제적, 물리적 이유로 번동을 벗어날 수 없다. 두 산의 골에서부터 시작되는 도시 조직과 타고난 그 지형은 빗물을 더욱 빠르게 만들고, 그러한 빗물에 대응하기에 그들은 취약했다. 비를 두려워하지 않도록 빗물에 대한 건축적 변화를 요구하고, 그들의 일상을 식물들 속에 스며들게 하여 꽃이 피는 내일을 기다리게 하고 싶다.

   건축적 요소들은 빗물에 대응하기 위해 변형되고, 우리 사이를 식물과 물로 채워나간다. 식물에게 필요한 것들을 집 안으로 들인다. 식물의 사이클 속에서 우리의 감각은 다시 일어나고, 우리는 식물의 군집처럼 하나가 될 수 있다. 빗물은 도시를 하나로 만들어주는 매개체가 되고, 우리는 이제 비를 기다린다.

   물과 식물로 연결된 그들은 서로를 돌보는 새로운 지역 공동체가 된다. 개인일 때는 미약하나 건물 간의 연대로 하나의 시스템이 될 때 그들은 강력해진다.

   평등한 빗물의 회복으로 태어난 식물 공동체는 감각적이고 살아 있다.

  Residents of Bun-dong, where permanent rental apartments were first introduced, cannot escape Bun-dong for economic and physical reasons. The urban organization and its natural topography, which began with the valley of the two mountains, made rainwater faster, and they were vulnerable to responding to such rainwater. I want to demand architectural changes to rain water so that I don't fear rain, and let their daily lives permeate the plants so that they wait for tomorrow when flowers bloom.

  Architectural elements are transformed to cope with rainwater and fill the space between us with plants and water. Bring the things that plants need into the house. In a plant cycle, our senses rise again, and we can become one like a cluster of plants. Rainwater becomes the medium that brings the city together, and we now wait for rain.

  Connected by water and plants, they become a new local community that cares for each other. They are weak when they are individuals, but they become powerful when they become a system through solidarity between buildings.

Plant communities born of equal rainwater recovery are sensuous and alive.
