ABSTRACT

   주름의 인공산에 무용계급이 거주한다.

다수는, 의미 없는 존재인 무용계급이 될 것이다. 생산과 노동에서 멀어졌을 때 비로소 근본적인 행위가 무엇인지 생각해본다. 이들은 인간으로 남기 위해 활동적 삶부터 관조적 삶까지의 스펙트럼 (물질로 실체화하는 제작부터 아무것도 하지 않는 명상까지)에 살고자 하게 된다. 생존을 확보된 미래로 가정하고, 이 활동-관조의 공간에 주거 공간이 종속된다. 이 삶을 위해, 기술 발전에 의해 불연속적으로 떠오른 땅으로 간다. 현대화, 지하화된 물재생센터 상부에 생긴 거대한 같지만 다른 두 대지는, 강을 사이에 두고 서로 마주보는 주름진 곳이다. 각 대지에 여러 마운드들이 강변부터 도시까지를 걸친 인공 주름이 되고, 두 곳을 오가는 순환적인 삶을 그린다. 본인의 기반을 의심하는 이들은, 땅의 경험이 일상이 되게 하는 인공 마운드 위에서, 동시에 그 속에서, 거주할 것이다. 흙은 파내지고 마운드 상부에 덮어질 것이고, 지하 시설 위에는 개축된 내부공간과, 상부의 산 같은 표면이 동시에 존재할 것이며, 신축된 건물들조차 마운드가 될 것이다. 사람은 땅에 의한 존재기 때문이다.

Many will be the irrelevant beings, meaningless existences. Only when they move away from production and labor, they will think about what the fundamental acts are. In order to remain as a human, they want to live in a spectrum from the active life to contemplative life (from working of materializing to do nothing like a meditation). Assuming that survival is a secured future, the residential space will belong to this active-contemplative space. For this life, they go to the land that has been discontinuously emerged by the change of time. The two huge but different lands at the top of the modernized and underground water treatment plants are folded ground facing each other with a river in between. Several mounds on each site become ‘defined folds’ from the waterfront to the city and depict a circular life between the two places. Those who doubt their foundation will live on, and at the same time, in an artificial mound that makes the experiences of the land in daily life. The soil will be dug up and covered on the top of the mound, and the renovated interior space and mountainous surfaces on the top of the underground facilities will exist at the same time, and even new buildings will be the mounds. Because the persons are by the earth.
