    수없는 건축행위로 오염된 도시의 땅을 회복한다. 땅을 건축물이 들어서는 기초가 아닌 생명을 탄생시키는 능동적 주체로 농법의 관점에서 접근하여 전통 농법 중 흙을 살리는 지혜인 풍백(風伯) 기법을 적용한다.

땅을 솎아 숨을 불어넣고 그 자리에 나무와 같은 건축을 심는다. 뿌리가 흙 속에서 양분을 얻고 기둥을 통해 물과 양분이 이동하여 잎에서 생산활동을 하듯, 솎아낸 땅의 흙은 지상으로 올라와 돔과 볼트 위에 뿌려져 경작지의 흙이 된다. 구조체는 나뭇잎처럼 흙의 표면적을 넓히고 솎아져 올라온 곳에서 새로운 생태계가 만들어진다.

Recovering the fossilized and contaminated land of Samgakji, this project interprets the land as an active entity that creates and helps the life of living things, not the base of the foundation of the building. Pung-Baek(風伯), which is a traditional agricultural method of revitalizing soil, has been applied through structural and morphological methods.

Plowing the soil to breathe and blowing new breath into it, a tree-like structure has been planted on the site. Just as the roots of trees absorb water and nutrients and transport them to leaves through stems, plowed soil rises to the ground and is sprayed on domes and vaults to become new soil for agricultural land. This structure expands the surface area of the soil like a leaf, and a new ecosystem is created, recovering earth by inhaling and exhaling.
