ABSTRACT

    내 프로젝트의 주제는 Meeting Between The Public & The Private이며, 사이트는 한남동 연립주택구역이다. 이곳은 서울 전체에 비하여 외국인 인구가 엄청나게 많아서 한국인과의 만남의 기회를 넓힐 필요가 있다. 이곳의 삶의 질을 개선하기 위해서는 일률적인 public 도로를 semi-public 과 semi-private 도로로 세분화하고, 더 나아가 도시블록 저층부에 다양한 상업·사회 프로그램을 삽입해 공공성과 모임 활동의 폭을 넓히고자 했다. 이 계획의 목표는 개인 소유의 공개공지를 만들고 차량의 접근을 제한하여 이곳에 주민들을 위한 내부 순환 보행로와 커뮤니티 공간으로 대체하는 것이다.

   The theme of my project is Meeting Between The Public & The Private, and the site is Hannam-dong row house area. This place has a huge foreign population compared to Seoul, so it is necessary to expand opportunities to meet Koreans. In order to improve the quality of life here, the uniform public road was subdivided into semi-public and semi-private roads, and furthermore, various commercial and social programs were inserted in the bottom of the city block to expand the scope of publicity and gathering activities. The goal of the plan is to create privately owned public spaces and limit access to vehicles, replacing them with internal circulating walkways and community spaces for residents.
